...about the
Norfolk Broads.

Hi we’re Sara and Tom, your personal guides to the Norfolk Broads

Whether you’re looking to explore by boat, foot, or bike, the Broads provide an unforgettable experience.

Let us introduce ourselves.

Hi, I’m Sara, and I’m part of the Barnes Brinkcraft team and the Twaites family, who have been providing Broads holidays under the same ownership since 1964. I’d like to share my passion for the Broads and help explain why the Norfolk Broads is such a great place to visit and stay.

Tom and I are working on this guide and look forward to sharing all the best bits about the Boards as we develop this guide.

The Broads National Park is one of Britain’s major tourist destinations and also Britain’s largest protected wetland, with 125 miles of water and no locks to stand in your way. The Broads are a favourite with first-time boaters as they offer the perfect combination of easy navigation thriving wildlife, fishing, birdwatching, landmark sites, shopping and picture-perfect pubs along the riverbank.

"We have been holidaying on the broads now for forty years on boats, houseboats and lodges. This holiday was one of the very best. Our first but not last with Barnes Brinkcraft. Right from the start the reception staff were very polite and helpful. The welcome goodies were much appreciated, the house was very clean and well maintained. The use of a day boat for the whole week was the cherry on the cake."
